Alviero Martini S.p.A., in its capacity as Data Controller (hereinafter also referred to as the "Data Controller" or "Controller"), provides this Notice pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree no. 101/2018 ("Privacy Code"), as well as the measures and guidelines adopted by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) concerning cookies and other tracking tools. This Notice governs the use of cookies on the website www.alvieromartini.it (hereinafter, the "Website") and informs the users (hereinafter "User" or "Data Subject") who visit the Website.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text strings that the Website sends to the User's device, where they are stored to be retransmitted to the Website upon the User's next visit.

Where required by law, such personal data may also be disclosed to entities acting as independent Data Controllers (for example, Judicial Authorities). The personal data provided will not be disclosed to additional third parties, nor will it be disseminated under any circumstances.

 

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

In accordance with current regulations, the Data Subject may exercise the following rights:

  1. Access: to request and obtain information regarding the existence of their Data with the Controller, information regarding the processing operations carried out by the Controller, as well as to obtain access to such data;

  2. Portability: to request and receive their data, processed by automated means, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format; they may also request the transfer of such data to another data controller;

  3. Rectification: to request and obtain the amendment and/or correction of their data if it is inaccurate or no longer up to date;

  4. Erasure and Restriction: to request and obtain the erasure and/or restriction of the processing of their data if such data or information is unnecessary—or no longer necessary—for the aforementioned purposes.

Finally, the Data Subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) if they believe that the Controller has not satisfactorily responded to their rights or if they believe a violation of their rights has occurred.

This Notice may be subject to amendments and updates in order to ensure it remains current and compliant with any subsequent legislative developments. The Data Subject is therefore invited to periodically review its content. Where possible, the Controller undertakes to promptly communicate the changes made and their respective consequences. In any event, the updated version of the notice will be published on this page, indicating the date of its last update.
